I suppose you could say I’m not very sentimental.  I don’t carry pictures around with me in my wallet of my friends and family.  In fact, I don’t even own a camera.  I don’t even have that many pictures of me up on my myspace profile, just enough so people know what I look like.  I don’t hang on to old concert or MLB tickets or anything like that to commemorate the experience.  I was there.  I remember it.  That’s all that really matters to me.  Most of my girlfriends have been the exact opposites.  They have to take a picture for everything.  There have been more pictures of me up on their myspace and facebook profiles than I even own of myself.  They keep old tickets spread and splayed across their dressers like decks of cards.  Of course they constantly asked me why I never have any pictures of myself.  One girlfriend even said she was going to buy me a camera for Christmas so that then I wouldn’t have any excuse not to be taking pictures of me, her, and my family and friends, and everything else I did.  We got into a fight over the direction of our relationship and broke up before Christmas.  Still, it wouldn’t have been bad for me to own a camera.
