While I was at the hospital I pulled one of the nurse's aside during a quiet moment to ask her if she knew where I could pick up some bankruptcy information. She didn't exactly know where I could pick anything up but she wound up telling me about a friend of hers who went through the process. By the time we were done with the conversation I was feeling a little bit better about my own situation. I always knew I should've gotten health insurance but it's too late now. I got insurance for my kids and I just felt like I could scrape by. What's funny is both of the kids are into adventure sports and neither one of them has ever gone to the hospital. One of them goes flying around in those wingsuits and the other one likes to jump out of planes. I mean it seems like I barely come out of the house but that one time when I'm in a hurry and not being as careful as I should be something like this happens. The car got completely wrecked and the driver of the other vehicle even wound up walking away without even a scratch. I'm just glad I still have my life and after this whole mess is cleared I will feel even better.
